lyrics

red
the color of mystery
and, certainty
of hijinx, and fortune
i sense the history of this planet
on this spot, in this city
the people that walked before
this, was their city

I sense the flowers that were growing
before, the great city
from this spot I can sense the other planets
suspended, in the great ether
it is continuous, and we are suspended in it

i can sense, other people's troubles
and their happiness
the pulse of simultaneous movement
i can feel the birth and death
the surprise and disgust of being born
the relief and sadness of dying

the world is red to this monk
to this monk

the world is destiny, the world is fate,
the world is destroyed in a heartbeat

the world is red to this monk

about

Where Horses Eat Men California

In the fall of the year 2000, the Gazillions recorded new live tracks for a follow up to their first album titled Have Landed, tentatively set to be called Where Horses Eat Men. However, after meditating in lotus position for 24 hours, the band opted instead to call it quits, and walk the earth like Caine in the tv show Kung Fu. 21 years later, 2 band members took those tapes in a new direction. ... more
